Sri kodandarama temple is loctaed 4 kilometers from shamshabad bus stand,built by "vengi kings" in 13 century BC and is one of the rarest kodandarama temple,where lord rama is holding an arrow in hand along with Sita and Laxmana in the second sanctorum.lord hanuamn is placed at the dhwaja stamba.

        The top level of the gopuram is built in solid stone and masonry in true Indian style.it is believed that hanuman is looking towards lord rama to wait for instructions from him to fulfil the desires of the devotes.

                     "Fateh Darwaza"(victory gate,so called after aurangazeb's trimpuhant army marched in through this gate).at fateh darwaza we can experience a fantastic acoustic effect.a hand clapat a certain point below the dome at the entrance reverberates and can be heard clearly the "Bala Hisar" pavilion,the highest point almost a kilometer away.this worked as a warning note to the royals in case of an attack.
